I’m a Monmouth resident looking for a new and exciting direction. I have a versatile set of skills, ranging from digital technology to marketing and campaigning. I’m always keen to expand my skills and excited by new and arising industries which improve the world for all.

My role involved discovering news leads, interviewing individuals, and engaging with the local community to stay informed on relevant issues. I was responsible for writing and publishing news stories in both print and online formats, as well as recording and editing video content for the website. Additionally, I promoted stories on social media platforms and attended community and business events to stay connected with local developments.

Website developer for Monmouth Carnival from June 2011 to June 2024

I was in charge of designing, building, and maintaining the Monmouth Carnival website. This included ensuring that the site was functional, up-to-date, and user-friendly, while also working on any necessary updates or improvements as the event evolved each year.

My graphic design work included creating print-ready marketing materials like flyers, brochures, and business cards for small businesses. Additionally, I worked as a web designer with clients such as Monmouth Carnival and the Wales Green Party, and I produced online videos for organizations including Monmouth Football Club and Wales Green Party. I also utilized visitor analytics to help clients understand and improve engagement with their digital content, as well as develop monetization strategies when applicable.

I maintained the company’s websites and created copy and promotional materials such as flyers and technical documentation for their underfloor heating products. I also took on administrative responsibilities, including drafting letters and responding to general inquiries. I filmed an online promotional advert and was involved in the development and execution of advertising strategies. My role also included conducting market research and analysing data to improve the company’s outreach efforts.

Political Intern for The Green Party in Norwich from July 2009 to September 2010

I managed and updated several local Green Party websites. I also designed and published political materials such as leaflets and newspaper ads, filmed and produced the 2010 City Council by-election video, and worked as part of a team maintaining the computer network for the Norwich Green Party media team.
